Are you an organised and compassionate professional looking for a rewarding role in healthcare? DHU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Administrator/Receptionist to join our team at Thurmaston Health Centre. This role is essential in providing efficient administrative and reception support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a busy NHS primary care setting.

Location: Thurmaston Health Centre, Thurmaston, Leicestershire, LE4 8EA
Contract Type: Part-time 3 Days at 7.5hrs = 22.5hrs a week

Your Role as an Administrator/Receptionist:

  • Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Handle incoming calls, appointment bookings, and patient records
  • Process administrative tasks, including data entry and correspondence
  • Ensure the reception area is well-organised and welcoming
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to NHS safeguarding policies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • IT literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and patient record systems (SystmOne experience is advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • A positive, team-oriented approach
  • Full valid UK driving licence and ability to travel between DHU sites if required
