Job Introduction
Be the friendly face patients see when they arrive
At DHU Healthcare, every role matters. Because every moment gives us the chance to make the difference – for patients, colleagues and communities. Wherever you join us, your compassion, commitment and skills will not only make all the difference in the moment today but also shape the care we deliver tomorrow.
With us, care never stops
At DHU Healthcare, our Urgent and Emergency Care teams work on the frontline of the NHS, delivering expert, compassionate care 24/7, 365 days a year. From Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres to GP surgeries and communities across the East Midlands and beyond, we’re there when people need us most.
Our teams of skilled medical, nursing, allied health, and support professionals all work together to respond quickly and effectively to every patient. We deliver a wide range of services including community nursing, urgent treatment, primary care streaming, urgent on-day primary care, GP home visiting, phlebotomy, community hospital medical cover, telephone consultation support, and palliative care home visiting. With us, you’ll be supported to succeed – in your role, your development, and your career.
As a UEC Administrator you will:
- Be the welcoming, professional first point of contact for patients and visitors.
- Manage appointments, patient records and administrative processes accurately.
- Support clinicians and operational staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle enquiries and provide information in a calm, compassionate manner.
- Play a vital role in creating positive patient experiences every day
For you, because great care starts with a supported team
We offer a benefits package with your health, happiness and future in mind. You’ll have access to the NHS pension scheme (and we’ll honour your existing NHS pension pot and holiday entitlement if you’re transferring), free secure parking at most sites, birthday leave, and our Health Cash Plan for you and your family – covering dental, optical, therapy costs, and 24/7 GP access after six months.
Plus, there’s wellbeing perks, flexible working, a salary sacrifice Car Lease Scheme with low-emission options, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and a rewarding referral programme. It’s our way of saying thank you.
With us, your potential becomes progress

Whether you’re just starting out or ready for your next challenge, we’ll help you take that next step with confidence. With us, development is part of how we work, how we lead, and how we shape healthcare together.
You’ll find clear career paths and the encouragement to explore new skills and opportunities.
