Clinical Service Lead
Location: Danetre Community Hospital, Northampton NN1 5BD
Hours: 37.5 hours per week,
Salary: £64,234 pro rata
In this role, you will provide professional clinical and operational leadership to an integrated multidisciplinary team, ensuring the systems, processes and support structures are in place to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will play a key role in fostering a strong culture of patient safety, professional accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, compassionate and effective clinical leadership across the Palliative and Community Nursing services, creating a culture where roles, responsibilities and professional accountability are clearly understood.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team to ensure services operate efficiently, meet contractual and commissioning requirements, and align with organisational priorities.
- Lead the review, development and implementation of palliative and community care clinical pathways, ensuring compliance with national guidance, quality standards and agreed KPIs.
- Provide expert clinical oversight, contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical standards and best practice through evidence-based decision-making.
- Drive service development and improvement initiatives, ensuring agreed changes are implemented effectively and evaluated for their impact on patient outcomes.
- Support the delivery of CQUINs and other quality initiatives relating to palliative and end-of-life care.
