Part-Time, 5 hours per week.

About the role
As a Corporate Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Reception and associated administrative service, welcoming callers and visitors to the organisation. A commitment to quality service and excellence in all that DHU Health Care CIC undertakes are integral to the role and the development of the service.

Responsibilities: 
  • Welcoming visitors with appointments as they arrive at the Company reception.
  • Answering telephone calls, both internal and external, using agreed protocols and standards in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Ensuring only authorised personnel enter the building.
  • Managing receipt of deliveries and onward distribution.
  • Ensuring visitors sign in and are made aware of Health & Safety rules and regulations pertaining to the building.
  • Fire Warden responsibilities in the event of fire alarm activation.
  • Proactively provide general administration services and undertake clerical duties in a professional, timely manner, as and when requested.
  • Maintain manual/computerised records as required to a high standard.
  • Booking of meeting rooms in a timely manner and associated tasks.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times in relation to all issues concerned with the service and adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection Act and Information Governance.
  • Maintaining equipment – checking systems and printers as necessary and reporting any faults to appropriate members of staff.
  • Providing cover for sickness and annual leave.
  • Notifying the line manager of any circumstances which may affect the provision of a high-quality service.
 
 
Essential Skills:
  • Customer Service NVQ or proven work experience as a receptionist.
  • 4 GCSEs Grades A-C or equivalent including English and Math’s.  
  • Effective communication skills with a variety of media and all levels of staff within the company as well as external agencies.
  • Computer experience (e.g., Word/Excel and other packages) as well as email systems and other electronic media.
  • Flexibility to meet service/Rota needs.
