We are looking for a Data Engineer to join the IT department to help us fulfil the ambitious goals of the organisation. Many of these goals need to be supported with quality data and our ability to process this data at scale.
As a member of our Data Engineering Team, you will collaborate with skilled professionals across multiple departments with various aspects of data management.

Competitive salary: £43,742 (Band 7)

What your typical day looks like:
- Delivering large-scale development products via projects.
- Responding to and completing ad-hoc queries.
- Developing data transfer processes using ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Provide SQL, Reporting, and ETL/ELT development support to colleagues.
- Robust documentation of existing and/or new processes.
To be a successful Data Engineer you’ll need:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant business intelligence role
- Ability to analyse and manipulate data to produce informative reports.
- Use of SQL, SSIS and understanding of warehouse & dataset design.
- Debugging/troubleshooting anomalous data & performance tuning queries.
- Previous experience of mining data from multiple systems & working with ETL/ELT methodology
- Previous experience working on project-based developments.
- Microsoft T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Service and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly focusing on Excel.
- Right to work in the UK
