Location: Northampton General Hospital

Working Pattern: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, working an average of 20.08 hours per week. Full working pattern attached.

Salary: DHU Band 2, £24,554 per annum (pro rata)

As a Driver, you’ll play a vital role in supporting urgent care services by safely transporting clinicians to and from home visits across the community. You’ll help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care by keeping journeys efficient, vehicles fully prepared, and communication flowing throughout each shift.

This role calls for excellent driving standards, strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence (held for at least two years) and a commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork. Most importantly, you’ll bring compassion, professionalism and pride in supporting frontline healthcare when it matters most.
