Are you a dedicated, compassionate General Practitioner seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive, patient-centred environment? At DHU Healthcare, we’re looking for experienced GPs to join our multidisciplinary team across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), delivering high-quality care to our diverse and growing community.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Flexible — both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Competitive Salary: £93,853 per annum

Commensurate with experience and role, plus enhancements where applicable

What Your Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals of all ages within our community.
  • Managing a mix of pre-booked and on-the-day appointments with clinical and administrative support.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support effective, compassionate care.
  • Participating in clinical meetings, service development projects, and strategic planning.
  • Utilising digital systems to reduce administrative tasks and optimise patient care time.
  • Pursuing areas of special clinical interest (e.g., minor surgery, women’s health, medical education).
  • Upholding high standards in record-keeping, patient safety, safeguarding, and infection control.

To Be a Successful General Practitioner You’ll Need:

  • MRCGP or equivalent
  • Full GMC Registration with a valid Licence to Practise
  • Relevant experience in Primary Care settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, audit, and quality improvement
  • A supportive and collaborative approach to mentoring and developing clinical colleagues
