Salary: £24,336 per annum
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Fixed Term 12 months contract
Location: Orbis Building, Pride Park, Derby

We are looking for professional, resilient individual who want to make a difference! The role of an Onboarding Assistant is a challenging fast-paced role that requires great attention to detail, empathy and a calm diplomatic approach.

A day in the life of a Onboarding Assistant with DHU will involve:
- Work as a part of compassionate, driven team in Talent Acquisition
- Be involved with clinical and non-clinical staff members.
- To assist with recruitment processes by following standard operating procedures.
- To ensure the HR information system is regular updated ensuring all new starter information is entered in a timely fashion to meet department deadlines.
- To carry out pre-employment checks, reference/ID/DBS/clinical registration for the new starters ensuring compliance with company/NHS standards.
- To ensure the employee files are fully complete and audited to in house standards and in line with Data Protection Legislation/CQC and ISO requirements.
To be a successful Onboarding Assistant you’ll need;
- Previous experience in similar role.
- Possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment.
- Learn new skills and demonstrate a caring, professional attitude at all times.
- Be motivated, passionate, positive, resilient and determined to provide the best care.
