Senior Coordinator

Location: Hybrid Working. Lakelands Hospice, Corby

Working Pattern: Bank Contract, 12-month Fixed-Term

Salary: DHU Band 2, £24,853 per annum (pro rata)

Our Urgent and Emergency Care teams deliver expert, compassionate support 24/7, across Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centres, GP surgeries, and the wider community. Skilled medical, nursing, allied health, and support professionals work together to respond quickly and effectively, while you’ll be supported to thrive in your career.

As a Senior Coordinator you will:

• Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Northamptonshire Palliative & End of Life Care Service.
• Prioritise referrals and allocate visits based on patient need, demand and available resources.
• Support patients, relatives and carers with clear, compassionate communication.
• Coordinate staffing, rotas and shift cover to help maintain a safe and responsive service.
• Manage calls, referrals, records and handovers accurately and confidentially.
• Monitor service pressures, risks and incidents, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
