As the Senior Occupational Health Advisor you will work collaboratively with the Head of Occupational Health to develop, monitor and review occupational health needs and relevant organisational policies and procedures to ensure that they are fit for purpose and are legally compliant

What your typical day looks like:
- Supporting the Head of Occupational Health and deputise as necessary
- Practice autonomously without direct supervision and liaise with OH Co-ordinator for daily and weekly case management schedules, case conferences, and Team meetings
- Although the role will be predominantly remote, working from home, the post holder will be required to attend other DHU sites approximately once a month
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in relation to all issues concerned within the service and adhere to DHU policy ensuring staff are aware of their obligations under the Freedom of Information Act, Information Governance, GDPR and the Data Protection Act
- Offering appropriate advice to health and social care professions on care practices, delivery and service development within the parameters of the role and scope of practice
- Attending professional meetings and participate in team meetings
- Participating in the clinical supervision framework for health care professionals within the company

- Working across a varied remit and includes working on Management Referrals and Case Management case reviews including conducting telephone and video consultations, providing health assessments and reports, and providing expert guidance and advice
- Providing mentorship, leadership and training to other team members
To be a successful Senior Occupational Health Advisor, you will need:
- To be able to show evidence of using autonomous physical and identification of occupational diseases and risk factors, and assessment skills in practice
- Experience in one of the following: nurse led clinics, active participation in the development of policies and processes and knowledge of SEQOHS compliance and accreditation
- To be able to evidence experience of handling complex case management
- To be able to complete a concise clinical history and offer expert opinion
- Be Aware of current developments in regards to integrated care provisions
