As part of DHU, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the highest level of service, working alongside a friendly, multi-disciplinary team committed to making a real difference every day.

Location: Northampton General Hospital & Kettering General Hospital

What We Offer

Working Pattern: Average over 6 weeks = 73.5 hours / 12.25 hours per week

Week 1 – 

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30pm

Week 2 – 

Thursday – Northampton – 8pm – 11:59pm

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30am

Friday – Northampton – 8pm – 11:59pm

Week 3 – 

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30am

Week 4 – 

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30am

Sunday – Kettering – 1pm – 6:30pm

Week 5 –

Monday – Northampton – 12am – 7:29am

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30am

Sunday – Northampton – 12am – 7:30am

Week 6 –

Friday – Kettering – 12am – 7:30am

Salary: DHU Band 2.0 – £23,875 per annum (pro rata)

Your Role

A typical day will include:

• Transporting Clinicians to and from home visits
• Using in-car systems to stay updated on visit requests
• Assisting with scheduling and route planning to meet quality standards
• Ensuring vehicles are fully stocked and equipment checked before visits

What We’re Looking For:

• A full UK driving licence held
• Ability to pass a driver medical & assessment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Previous professional driving experience
