Human Resources Advisor
As a Human Resources Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate data management, clear communication, and appropriate escalation where needed. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations matters including TUPE, Management of Change (MOC), and audits. You'll also lead on People Relations support for DHU and the wider People & Culture team, including delivering training to advisors and managers to ensure compliance with policies, best practices, and employment legislation.

Competitive salary: £29,970 - £34,311 (Band 5)
Generous annual leave entitlement: Standard 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays. Pro Rata/ Per Annum
What your typical day looks like:
• Providing advice and guidance to our managers and our employees with regards to all employee relations matters
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues, peers and all our customers; internal and external, with the confidence and ability to challenge professionally, when required
• Supporting with internal and external audit preparation, attendance and actions
• Proactively reviewing People & Culture procedures and forms in line with our CARE values, behavioral framework, best practice, UK employment legislation and our organisational needs.
• Maintenance of our HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate capture and analysis of data.
• Enable, foster and promote a culture across the team and organisation of safety, respect and accountability through actively advocating and role modelling being an active bystander.
To be a successful Human Resources Advisor, you will need:
• A good general standard of education, professional degree level
• A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or at least level 3, but already working towards level 5)
• Strong Employee Relations experience (Ideally a min of 2 years)
• Experience in managing conflicting priorities and workloads to ensure timely and efficient responses.
• Confidence and ability to challenge in a professional manner.
• Positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• Right to work in the UK.
