As a People & Culture Business Partner, your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic People support to the People & Culture Team and our DHU leaders and managers across the divisions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive people-centric initiatives that align with business objectives and promote a positive and inclusive work culture

This role requires a deep understanding of People practices, strong commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships across all levels of the division.

What your typical day looks like:

  • Develop strong relationships with leaders, manages and our employees through business partnership to understand their needs
  • Provide strategic support and guidance to our leaders, utilising our coaching led leadership where appropriate. Proactively identify people-related opportunities and challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Lead, engage and manage the divisional People function, ensure the team feel confident and are competent in providing ER support and advice that promotes employee wellbeing and is in line with our Values, behavioural framework, and vision
  • Support conflict resolution and mediation to promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Enable, foster, and promote a culture across the team and organisation of safety, respect, and accountability through actively advocating and role modelling being an active bystander
  • Supporting the business with all People & Culture activities that form part of any change, ensuring realistic, achievable, and legislative action and targets are applied
  • Continuously utilise data to measure and analyse People & Culture activities and performance to ensure delivery of our services are at the highest standard and identity areas of improvement
  • Delivering internal employment law updates for relevant People & Culture team members; providing consistent and accurate change information and actively support the business in ensuring readiness and compliance with such changes


To be a successful People and Culture Business Partner you’ll need:

  • If not already holding minimum of CIPD 5 (or equivalent), then willing to work towards
  • Ability to lead, inspire and develop those within the team and key partners
  • Delivery and customer focused, with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to deliver and manage conflicting and changing priorities
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management
  • Self-motivated with ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •  Excellent ability to advocate and be an ambassador for values and key business drivers
  •  Effective change agent
  • Committed to own CPD
  • Right to work in the U
