Looking to launch your career in data while making a meaningful impact on patient care? DHU is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Systems and Intelligence team as an Apprentice Data Technician (Level 3).

Serving over 11 million people and managing 4.5 million calls annually, DHU 111 plays a vital role in delivering urgent care across the Midlands, Milton Keynes, and London. Based at our Orbis Building in Pride Park, Derby, this hands-on, site-based role focuses on supporting our Quality Management and Interaction Analytics (QM & IA) function. You’ll work closely with analysts to explore and interpret call data using tools like NICE CXOne, helping drive improvements in compliance, service delivery, and patient outcomes—while earning a nationally recognised Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship.

Competitive salary: £24071 (Band 3 )

Generous annual leave entitlement: Standard 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays. Pro Rata/ Per Annum

What your typical day looks like:

  • Prepare data for audits, tagging and quality reviews
  • Tag and label call interactions in NICE CXOne to support insight work
  • Help maintain reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI
  • Support form testing and process improvements within the QM & IA systems
  • Observe how analysts support operational teams using data insights
  •  Carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate for the role, within the 
  • scope of the apprenticeship and under supervision

 

To be a successful Systems Data Technician  Apprentice you’ll need:

•                 GCSE Math’s at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)

•                 Interest in healthcare, digital systems, and problem solving

•                 Willingness to work full time on site and develop through structured learning
