Employee Relations Project Advisor - 6 Month FTC

We’re looking for proactive and professional individual to support the successful delivery of Management of Change(MOC) projects. In this role, you’ll provide expert employee relations advice and guidance that aligns with best practice, company policy, and employment legislation. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant employee records, supporting consultation processes, and ensuring timely resolution of queries. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to values-driven organisation, championing our CARE values and behavioural framework in everything you do.

What your typical day looks like: 

 

  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with all customers; internal and external with the confidence and ability to challenge professionally, if required.
  •  Providing People & Culture support, guidance and high standard correspondence to managers and staff regarding consultations and all employee relations matters, in line with DHU policies and procedures, and best practice.
  • Supporting the wider People & Culture team effectively and efficiently to deliver People & Culture projects with a flexible approach, as and  when the need arises.
  • Generating consistent and professional correspondence in line with policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Responsible for maintaining project Mailbox’s and taking employee relations calls, resolving day to day queries in line with policy, procedure, contractual terms and best practice; ensuring all queries are responded to expediently and escalated at the earliest opportunity where required.
  • Supporting facilitation in the development of line managers, to increase their people and management skills in line with policy, procedure, and best practice.
  • Maintaining employee files in line with best practice, GDPR, CQC and local compliance requirements.
  • Maintenance of HRIS, ensuring accurate capture and analysis of data
  • Maintenance of the project employee relations tracker, demonstrating high attention to detail and accuracy at the forefront.
  • Supporting with any other People & Culture activities when the need arises. 

To be a successful Employee Relations Advisor, you will need:

  • A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or at least level 3, but already working towards level 5)
  • Strong ER generalist experience (Ideally a min of 1 year)
  • Experience of reviewing & creating policies and procedures
  • Previous HR experience within the healthcare sector is desirable
  • Right to work in the UK.
