About the role

As an Employer Brand Assistant, you’ll sit at the heart of Talent Acquisition helping us attract, engage and inspire the people who will deliver care across our communities.
This isn’t just about social media. It’s about understanding what attracts talent, bringing our employer brand to life, and creating content that connects the right people to the right roles.
You’ll support recruitment marketing activity, build engaging campaigns, and help strengthen how we position DHU as an employer of choice.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with our Talent Acquisition and Communications teams, you’ll:
- Create engaging, brand-aligned content that showcases life at DHU from colleague stories to “day in the life” features
- Support recruitment campaigns, promoting vacancies in a way that attracts and engages the right talent
- Partner with colleagues across services to capture authentic stories that reflect our culture, values and impact
- Develop creative content including graphics, short-form video and written posts aligned to DHU’s tone and identity
- Support talent pipelining by helping build awareness and interest in hard-to-fill and priority roles
- Use data and insights to track performance, improving reach, engagement and candidate experience over time
For you
You’ll build real, hands-on experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing and Talent Acquisition within a purpose-driven healthcare organisation.
We’ll support you to:
- Develop skills in digital storytelling, campaign planning and content creation
- Understand how Talent Acquisition drives workforce outcomes and organisational performance
- Build confidence using social media platforms, analytics tools and design software
- Gain experience in attraction strategies, talent pipelines and candidate engagement
- Complete a Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, supporting your long-term career
