We are seeking a highly accurate and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team in Oldbury. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional accuracy, proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), outstanding communication abilities, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent administrative support and perform clerical duties promptly and professionally.
- Maintain records accurately, both manual and computerized.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Assist in booking meetings and associated tasks.
- Ensure accurate typing and compilation of documents, letters, and statistical data.
- Adhere to protocols, procedures, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Support new staff training and attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold Health and Safety policies and report any faults or concerns promptly.
- Maintain equipment and communicate outstanding issues before the end of the shift.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a related field and working in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word/Excel) and electronic communication.
- Strong audio typing, minute-taking, and transcript skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work with initiative, maintain confidentiality, and solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Minimum 4 GCSEs Grades A-C or equivalent, including English and Math's.
- Typing/Word Processing RSA II qualification or appropriate keyboard skills.
