Competitive salary: £22,383 (Band 2)

What your typical day looks like:
  • To assist the Patient Involvement & Experience Manager, and the Head of Clinical Audit & Quality Improvement in the organisation of meetings, including preparation and circulation of the agendas and supporting documentations including taking of formal minutes as and when required. (Training will be provided if required).
  • To undertake a wide variety of clerical duties and support the functions of the Information Clinical Audit Team.
  • Maintaining computerised and manual filing systems, ensuring information can be retrieved easily on request.
  • Using computerised databases and information systems including Datix and Civica, plus Healthcare IT Platforms.
  • Answering telephones and receiving visitors to the department, taking messages, or passing callers on to the appropriate member of staff.
  • Ensure the provision of a full administrative support service to the teams. This will include undertaking clerical duties in a professional, timely manner including typing, filing, scanning, photocopying, updating spreadsheets and general office tasks.
  • To ensure that strict confidentiality is maintained in all tasks (Adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection Act and Clinical Audit requirements).
  • Adhering to Corporate policies, procedures, protocols and other relevant memoranda as appropriate.
To be a successful Patient Experience & Audit Support Apprentice you’ll need:
  • Good general education to GCSE or equivalent
  • Eligible for the Apprenticeship 
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office – word, excel, outlook.
  • Ability to take minutes as required. 
  • Willingness to undertake any training required.
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours on occasions if required.
  • Willing to travel to other locations in the Derby, Leicester and Northampton areas on occasions.
  • Right to work in the UK
